This document provides guides and frequently asked questions about using Fuuuga. Updated periodically.
Tap the + button in the upper-right corner of the screen to open the timer edit screen. Set a title, icon, duration (hours, minutes, seconds), and end sound, then save.
Tap the + button to add a Pomodoro Timer or an Interval Timer in addition to a regular timer (a Fuuuga+ exclusive feature). The Pomodoro Timer preset runs four 25-minute work sessions with 5-minute short breaks, followed by a 15-minute long break. The Interval Timer is a general-purpose timer where you can freely set the warm-up, work, and break durations along with the number of sets. You can assign a different sound to each of Work Start, Work End, and All Cycles Finished. Turning off "Auto-Start Next Work" or "Auto-Start Next Break" pauses at each phase change so you can advance manually. Tapping the time display opens a full-screen view, where the skip button advances to the next phase.
The buttons on each timer row support the following actions:
Tapping the time display opens the timer edit screen.
Fuuuga supports running multiple timers simultaneously. Each timer operates independently and sends its own notification when it ends.
Tapping a circular button in the quick timer bar at the bottom of the screen instantly adds and starts a timer with a preset duration. The durations shown on each button can be customized in Settings (up to 4 buttons).
Long-press a timer row and drag it to change the order.
There are two ways to delete a timer:
When the app moves to the background, it records the end time and notifies you via a local notification. When you reopen the app, the remaining time is shown accurately. To receive notifications, please allow Fuuuga notifications in the Settings app.
You can select a color theme from Theme in the Settings screen.
You can choose from multiple icon designs in App Icon in the Settings screen. Dark mode, clear, and color-adjusted variants are also available.
Fuuuga records the end time with the system even in the background and notifies you via a local notification. If you are not receiving notifications, check that notifications are allowed under Settings app → Fuuuga → Notifications. Also verify that Notifications is enabled in the app's own Settings screen.
Please check the following:
Turning on Always On Display in the Settings screen prevents the screen from turning off automatically while you use a timer. Note that this increases battery consumption.
All timer settings are saved only on your device. No data is sent to external servers. Your data is retained even after restarting the app.
There is no undo feature for deleted timers. Please recreate it using the + button.
Up to 10 timers can run simultaneously.
You can change the duration of each of the 4 buttons in the Quick Timer section of the Settings screen. Tap a button and select from the list.
It is a number assigned in the order timers are started. It helps you track which timer was started in which order when running multiple timers simultaneously. You can toggle it on or off under Show Activation Number in the Settings screen.
The Pomodoro Timer and Interval Timer are Fuuuga+ features. You can use them during the trial period or after purchasing. Once the trial ends, any existing Pomodoro/Interval Timers remain in the list, but you can no longer start or resume them. Upgrading to Fuuuga+ restores access.
Fuuuga+ is an optional upgrade that removes in-app ads. After purchase, ads are completely removed and you can use all icons and themes without restriction. Purchases are managed through Apple's App Store and the app never stores your payment information. You can try all features free during the trial period.
Tap Restore Purchase from the Fuuuga+ section in the Settings screen. You must be signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
